(no subject)

Today I am taking the day off. I've been doing almost nothing but project work for the last two months or so. Most of the results are good, but my supervisor has given me more lab work to do and it's very near the end of term! I shouldn't really be taking time off- I need to get my thesis written. Also editing of the presentation is needed. It has to be pretty so we get funding!

I had a date last week and I'm seeing him again tonight at a friends engagement party. I'm quite excited! I had a boyfriend for about five years and then he broke up with me almost two years ago now. That was my first date since! 

I have some daffodils in a vase on my desk. They've not flowered yet, but they are opening up.

I took advantage of the not working to do my housework except the laundry (do that tomorrow..) and now my room is all clean!

Am now watching Graham Norton before hair washing. xx
